The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Associate Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the AVP of Marketing, this role will be instrumental in expanding our digital presence, driving lead generation, and communicating the value of our decision intelligence solutions to the higher education market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, preferably within the software or education technology (EdTech) space, and a knack for translating complex data solutions into compelling marketing narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and search engine marketing, to generate and nurture leads.
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging content such as blog posts, white papers, case studies, and webinars that highlight the benefits of our data and AI solutions for higher education leaders.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Implement strategies to attract, capture, and qualify marketing leads, and work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff and follow-up process.
  • Website Management: Maintain and optimize the company’s website to improve user experience, SEO performance, and conversion rates.
  • Marketing Material Development: Collaborate on the creation of marketing materials, including graphics, short videos, and presentations, ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to inform and optimize future strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the existing marketing team, the CRO, and product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand message.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Associate Marketing Manager or in a similar role, with a strong focus on digital and content marketing.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the software or EdTech industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
  • Analytical mindset and experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with product marketing concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
  • A resourceful and adaptable individual who can pivot quickly and solve problems creatively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of the higher education industry and its unique challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and video editing as they relate to marketing materials.
